Headquartered in Sacramento, California, we manufacture, market, sell and distribute products worldwide to wholesalers, retailers and specialty market segments. Poolmaster® Inc. is Born
Lee and Carol Tager founded Poolmaster, Inc. focusing on the manufacturing and distribution of a single maintenance product – a jet vacuum for the pool.
1960

Expansion of Products and Distribution
Poolmaster expanded its product line outside of maintenance to include recreational products, especially inflatables, and continued to expand distribution.

Boom of the Industry
The swimming pool industry experienced huge growth as President Ford, an avid swimmer, announced the build of the first in-ground, outdoor swimming pool on the White House grounds.

Classic Swim and Dive Toys
Poolmaster's recreational line expanded to include dive games and toys, such as the Rotten Egg Game, Dolphin Slalom Game, and Floating Volleyball Games — still top sellers today.

Launch of the Aqua Fun Brand
The Aqua Fun brand was established, focusing on fun interactive riders, games, and floats for kids ages 6 and up.

Poolmaster headquarters moved to a 100,000 sq. foot facility to support the expansion of distribution.

Poolmaster partnered with the Stanley® brand to launch the Stanley PoolTec™ line of pool and spa maintenance products for home owners.
